
About the Role
• Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial documents accurately and timely.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions.
• Maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries and ensuring proper coding of expenses and revenues.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Monitor and track expenses, identifying discrepancies or irregularities and taking corrective actions as necessary.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data and insights.
• Prepare and file required tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and timely submission.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
• Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting processes, procedures, and controls.
• Book-keeping for ITR & GST Filings. Prepare and file required tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and timely submission. Prepare & submit to the auditors
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Relevant certifications is a plus.
· Minimum 2+ Years Hands-on Experience.
· Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in an in-house accounting role.
· Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, and MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
· Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
· Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Integrity and a strong sense of ethics in handling financial data.
· Experience with financial analysis and reporting is an advantage.
